What exactly is the new Superman origin since the second crisis?
since the second crisis, supermans origin was apparently revamped again.....the john byrne retool is no longer completely accurate anymore....from what I can tell, superman got his powers much earlier now, he may have been a superboy, he met the legionaires when he was a kid....he knew lex luthor when he was a boy, he may or may not have been born on earth anymore....he may have been born on krypton and may remember some of his life there, and he's in the habit of saying "rao" now......all of this is implied though...I haven't stumbled upon any actual storylines since the second crisis that shows any of this. Are there books out there that show some of the new origin? are any coming out soon?

2007: Action Comics #850
2005-present: All Star Superman
But from what you describe, Action Comics #850 is the one that you want All-star not sure if that is really canon, or more of a story using one of the older versions of superman
